Some of the staff were really good at their job, friendly, helpful. Rooms were nice and spacious and had air-con which is a must. Outdoor shower was very cool.
There was no help offered - suggestion on where to go site-seeing, what was planned for dinner each night, it was kind of like "well you're here now and you've paid your money so we don't have to put much effort in"

The room was lovely and having the bathroom outside was something new for us. We loved it. Everything was clean and tidy. The Pool was devine and we enjoyed our swim. The other people staying there were also very friendly.
The rooms need to be better lit at night for reading or other work.

The staff at Le Manumea and the director, Luna, are honest, good people and I was blown away with their hospitality. I stayed at Le Manumea on a holiday weekend (Easter) but they went out of their way to ensure I had things to do every day. The resort has solid connections with trustworthy people (like Pete, who will take you on tours around the island, or Jerry, the taxi guy) and I truly enjoyed my stay at Le Manumea.

This was a family friendly resort, equally suitable for couples young or mature, quiet and secluded near the mountains.A Little bit of luxury with a very good price tag. Luna the owner was the most perfect host, her staff helpfull and friendly. The room was beautifully furnished with high wooden ceilings, coconut derived furniture, natural wood and fabrics, outdoor shower and bathroom area, very understated minimilist natural beauty. The grounds natural troical beauty was further enhanced by the scent of gardenia. luna has just begun a "PACIFIC ISLAND NIGHT' each Thursday evening that includes dancing and entertainment encompassing a variety of neighbouring cousins; including Samoa, Rarotonga, Tahiti NZ etc.

The kingsize bed was great. Loved the outdoor hot shower. The breakfasts were sufficient in size.
There was no umbrella in holder outside accommodation when it rained one day.

we were extremely disappointed that we were not informed we could not order from the menu (after being given the menu to view when we asked for it on arrival) and told it was a 'smorgasboard' only. We felt the resort lacked atmosphere and friendliness of staff (with the exception of the person we paid our money to on departure

Best place to stay in Apia by a country mile. Beautiful gardens and up high, away from city grime. Very convenient location. Extremely friendly and helpful owner with good support staff. Very comfortable rooms, good food and service, nothing too hard and great local connections for tours, cars , taxis, local and traveling knowledge, etc. Only complaint would be hot water not endless but the weather is so warm and the outdoor bathrooms so beautiful, makes the whole experience just lovely.

We liked everything especially the warm hospitality from management and staff. We were there for the cyclone and was glad we were at Le Manumea cos we felt safe, the structure of the building was strong and solid and Luna kept us fed, dry and had all of the essentials we needed for a natural disaster. We strongly recommend this resort if anyone is going to Samoa. Faafetai :)
